I like mid sized trucks slammed, not so much Duallys. I was about to buy an X-Runner.... Sometimes i regret not buying one, sometimes i'm glad i went with the OR instead... Slammed truck's are sweet, when done right...

my reason/response for putting on lo-pros and lowering it...ITS 2WD.

I dont off road, and my truck, which is my DD, cannot offroad. I got the truck to haul the dirtbike. So i am going to modify my truck so i enjoy driving it more where i drive it the most, on the road. Also i just love the look of lowered trucks:D

    this thread is entertaining

I personally think lowering trucks makes them pretty useless for towing/hauling, So i would never consider doing such a thing. Also I believe Chevy developed the cross between car and truck already...

the people who lower their trucks dont usually haul or tow with them. thats why they can go as low as they can. its a style nothing more.

New member here. This thread is pretty priceless to me. So much hate towards people who do things a little different.

When I started driving, all my friends were into stereos. (Late 80's, early 90's.) One of the easiest vehicles to fix up and have a system in was the mini truck. It was cheap, and making it low was easy. A few guys had 4x4 trucks, but they preferred to shoot stuff instead of cruise. I got started liking vehicles in this manner. I grew up in the sticks, but still like the street style more.

Peoples opinions on what's cool comes from their background.

Here's the truck I built a few years back:

    TruckPix009_e710070f7c1620505b040942bd1549a09a1b85b5.jpg

And here's what I just bought:

    abfc7dca_ce386c39231f193c672508886e515cff0cabc89f.jpg

I still have the yellow truck, but it isn't finished. My interest shifted to mountain biking over 10 years ago and I lost the fire to get the interior finished... My background made it more logical to get the 4x4 for places I ride. Simple as that.

Guess I just fed the troll, but man. Can't we just all respect each others interests?

Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
a lot of hate and ignorance in this thread, some people really need to learn that a bagged truck means the ride height is adjustable and that it can go over a speed bump with ease and still carry more weight than a stock or even a lifted truck in some cases.

that is just the funniest thing when people see a bagged truck layed out on the frame sitting in a driveway or a parking lot or somthing, and they think it rides like that 24/7. I just love explaining that to people, because most of the time they dont get it. Then of course their usual reply after 5 seconds of silence is....thats fucking stupid:facepalm:

Yep, and for some reason I'm still surprised at people's stupidity. I mean seriously, how the hell are you going to drive a truck when it's frame is sitting on the ground? lol

Man that yellow mini is sick.

I use to have a bagged silverado:
    d4865511_5efd64353ef6dffb01448946804b9321f976bcfb.jpg

That thing was a blast, the looks on peoples faces when you would air it out at a stoplight was priceless. Plus the sound from the valves was awesome haha. Yeah I couldn't haul very much, but that wasn't the point. It looked cool and was fun and that was all I cared about.

I disagree with that statement :D
