    i love lowered trucks...
if i had a choice (and knew how to drive stick) i woulda got an xrunner... but i got a TRD off road so i lifted it :)

aside the point i know like four guys whos "slammed" trucks could blow away many many sportscars... (speed wise)

    Its just bagged
Because "bags are for f*gs" and we "just can't get it up." :D

I drive a bagged taco and I'm on the fence.

I got the truck like this and I must say its virtually useless. No bed to speak of, can't haul anything but me and some friends, its not fast by any means (4cyl 5sp).

On the other hand, its gets tons of attention and the people I've met are all very cool and informative. The truck is definitely unique and very fun to drive with the adjustable suspension.

If I could, I would trade it for an older 4x4 (mine is an '01 xcab). But I've owned so many street trucks and sports cars (still do) that this just fits my style, and I enjoy it. I could use the utility of a REAL truck with 4wd and usable bed space but I don't think 4x4 owners are looking to trade for bagged mini's (as proven by the OP). :D

Just the .02 from the owner of a bagged taco.

So when guys build a street truck and it stays on the street (form and function) as opposed to to someone who spends thousands to outfit a truck for offroad and goes offroad maybe 2%to 10% of the time, is that for looks or function? I may slam one side and jack the other up, maybe thats what the infamous taco Lean is?

I guess if you want to be technical though, I can "get it up." Stock ride height actually is pretty easily done. :D

Also, no one here knows me personally, but I am the kind of person that would rather have a unique vehicle that gets (positive) attention than any old run of the mill truck that I use once in a blue moon.

This would be currently evidenced by my V8 RX7. Hell, when I chose a V8 for my 7, I couldn't even take the beaten path on that. I had to choose something (a little) off the wall. It seems to be working out for me so far, haha.

(BTW, I'm super proud of my Mazda so don't take it as being a show off, I'm just making a point, haha)

Hey I came back to visit and it's still going.. KEWL! LOL

Yeah, the slammed trucks get attention! They're clean, they have tricked out paint, details, etc. I love to look at 'em at the shows, there's some seriously detail oriented work goin' on in some of these rides.

A scratch or a dent can be traumatizing to your pride and joy lowrider.

A scratch or a dent is a "badge of honor" to us dirt - diggin' oversized kids.

    Almost everything is opposite!

Lowrider - Cleaner / Perfect Condition = SWEET
    4x4 - Dirty / Evidence of carnage = SWEET

We do have ONE thing in common -we LOVE our TACOS!

LOL and hey - trucks actually don't have balls.. in fact, most of the time, when a vehicle is "named" we give them female names. Think about it and it'll make you chuckle... No, your ball hitch doesn't count!

Jezuz, it's nice looking and all, but I would need a helicopter to lift it from my driveway to a road I could actually drive that thing on. You couldn't pull a baby carriage behind that thing on my road. And come December that truck would be as useless as, well... as useless as that truck in December in New Hampshire.

Dude, you realize that it raises up to ride height right? :p

    Here is my piece:

Thats not completely laid out, it will lay frame front to back when the bags are aired out.

i dont take it personal at all but you make a silly statement about not having balls, you have to expect someone to say something about it.
