Check my build thread...too much to list.
I need to get around to some maintenance but I've been super lazy. Diffs are due, vatozone cv boots are cracked, greasing upper and lower bushings and more. With going out more I need to make a maintenance schedule and stick to it.

Just do it! I try to stay close to the factory maintenance manual. 30k on diffs and transfer case and grease all fittings. According to it they are also supposed to check your tappet noise levels, but since I'm DIYing I have no clue on that aspect.
Engine oil I do at 10k intervals with Mobil 1 full synthetic 5W-30 Extended Performance. Rated for 20k intervals so I feel confident at 10k. OEM filter.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that, I also greased every zerk I could get my grease gun on. One of my greasable LBJs the fitting is clocked too close to the spindle so I couldn't get the gun on it.... :pout:
Oh well if the LBJ starts to go, it's got a lifetime warranty on it. I'll just get a new one fo free.

Probably not really but because of the hygroscopic nature of brake fluid they recommend it.
Not that a brake fluid change is ever done totally either so there is that too.

I just need one of those sweet speed bleeders and techstream so I can cycle the ABS too.

Techstream is the Toyota software that the dealer uses to do all sorts of other things. For this it allows you to cycle the ABS pump without slamming on the brakes on the highway so you can bleed any air in the system.
Techstream isn't cheap right out, but there are things you can do to get around that, like buying a Toyota knock off OBD to USB adapter online and then getting the software through someone. I'm sure @CygnusX191 could explain more features of it since he now gets to use it at work.

A just allows you to bleed more easily. Pulls vacuum on the bleeder port and typically comes with a reservoir you can attach to the factory reservoir to increase the capacity while your cycling fluids so you don't run the system out and put yourself in a perpetual cycle of frustration.

Noticed my road vibes were heavier on my way home today. Pulled up to the garage and got under with the inkling of carrier bearing. Sure enough 1/8" of slop in the sucker. My wallet is now $144 lighter since I might as well also replace all 3 U joints. Ordered through Summit since they had the lowest prices. Yay. Now to decide if I buy a 3 jaw puller or just borrow one from O'Reilly's?

Whatever size the carrier bearing is. I have the write up bookmarked on my home pc. I'll let you know. Might just be faster to 'rent' it because I believe you get your money back on return. Though I've slept many times since the last time I borrowed one and my memory is fuzzy.

That is the way rental tools work. But inspect it on site before you leave as they are many times junk.
