Need to upload pics from the slider build. Finally got that done this past weekend. Had to extend the weekend to get it done. Surprised I didn't get heat stroke out there. Thanks to @Sociopenguin for letting me come out even though he just had his appendix yanked out. :fistbump:

In the meantime, here's the finished product. I've said it once, I'll say it again. Probably the strongest part of my frame now.

Looking back, got everything done except the Tierod sleeves, and the winch/on board air overhaul. Will tackle that eventually....
Plan is to run a 3-way splitter off the ViAir, then run air lines to front and rear bumpers. I'll leave the 3rd split open for other needs. Since it's the auto shutoff model, I don't have to worry about leaving it on. Possibly add a tank later if I can tuck one under the bed. We'll see. I think I'm taking a long break from any welding projects on my truck, pretty burnt out on it. No pun intended.

That's right, you don't have to work Saturdays anymore now correct? Get after it, but don't kill yourself out there. It may have cooled off some, but it's still hot.

This Saturday was supposed to be the last of working every Saturday. Every 4th after Labor day weekend.
But, I've been here for 90 minutes this morning and I've already got a bad feeling......time will tell.

ATR was an absolute blast! I want to go back, just need some Quality of Life adjustments in our camping arrangements and to get some more preload/lift out of my setup.
I thrashed the Coastal Skids, but was able to mostly bend them flat again. They'll need more gussets to beef up there areas were Coastal didn't put any.
I know I'm bad about loading up pics on here, but there's a bunch I need to sort through and post eventually.

For now, here's a couple @CygnusX191 posted so I don't have to do the uploading

Shoutout to @CygnusX191 for talking me into ATR, to @Sasquatch3153 for wheeling with me and bringing SKI, to the Ohio Crew Zach, Jared and Kris, Florida Dave, and Stephanie! Y'all absolutely made the trip a great time! The trails were awesome, a good mix of easy and hard and really put my experience and equipment to the test!

I figured out how to properly do it. I totally missed the Distance Calibration setting right under the Fuel Calibration.
    1. Fill up to full
    2. Reset tank level (hold up button)
    3. Reset MPG data in the settings menu.
    4. Drive till next fillup.
    5. Go into the calibration page under vehicle setup, adjust the Actual Fuel used and it'll make note of the ratio at the bottom. By default it's 1.000. If you hit 'reset Fuel' it will reset it to 1.000 so don't do that.
    6. Go to Distance Calibration on the same page, adjust actual distance. This is the complicated part. I found out what the stock wheel's rolling distance is, and my new tires, then found the number to multiply my mileage by to get accurate distance. For me it's 1.068 x what mileage my Odometer thinks I went. Once you have your actual distance, punch that in and the ratio will update the same as the fuel did.
    7. Success, now you've calibrated your Ultra Gauge to pretty close to accurate.

I'm averaging 15.5-16.8 MPG daily driving mostly highway according to the gauge after adding the sliders. My average got brought down to ~14.2 after wheeling for 3 days at Windrock, so it's got to pump those numbers back up as I return to daily driving.

~45-50MPH and ~70-75MPH seem to be the sweet spots for me.

I'll add more trail photos eventually to the previous post, but here's the skid damage and my ghetto press to get it back somewhat straight. The left side was dented far worse and I couldn't get that out no more how I positioned the truck. Need more pressure.

I also had diff oil seeping from my cv axles on both sides, I drained the fluid, looked normal for wear and not far off where it should be. I'm hoping it just pressurized from being hot and then quenched in the muddy waters we waded through and forced fluid out. Refilled and cleaned the area for observation. Otherwise it's new seals time... I'll get those photos on here eventually too.

I'm leaking fluid out of the driver side cv. I'll get around to it eventually. Just gonna keep the truck parked for now

if its leaking, that means theres still fluid. you are good

or just keep topping it off, then its like a perpetual fluid change and its always fresh

Howdy Mark! Not much going on in here. Replaced my CV seals and no more leaks. When I drained the fluid though I saw 2 or 3 small metal flakes. :(
Hopefully nothing serious. Front diff isn't making any noises, at least not more than the cupped tire on the front. Getting a rotation on Friday.
Also bought 4 50% Falken MT 295/70R17s and 1 brand new one on Gladiator rims for $800. Dropped those off Saturday to get dismounted and will pick them up Friday unless I get impatient and pick them up early. The tires will go into storage until I start losing air on the ATs. The ATs are showing signs of dry rot so I scooped up these tires since they were basically half price, less if I can sell the gladiator rims for a decent amount.
Other than that not much to say.

Listed up the Rims Friday afternoon for $300 and within a few hours had a serious buyer. They picked them up Sunday! Those tires only cost me $500 now!
