I vote concrete because I have done the pavers thing in a dog run. Despite my prep and best effort, they have all settled and shifted over the years.

I'm only planning to be here 10-15 years. I figured pavers would be better for the next owner if they wanted to pull it all out (since I'll probably take my shed with me when I leave. :anonymous:

My garage outlet I've been running a laptop and 3D printer off of for about a Month now lost power during the big storms. Reset every breaker in the box, still nothing. Went up and checked my GFCIs. Sure enough they were all tripped...
Meaning that the garage outlet is most likely wired into the rest of my GFCIs and a GFCI outlet was not put in there. Pretty sure that's against code....
I need to retest the outlet now that I reset the GFCIs and see if indeed it was the culprit. I'll have to remember to check when I get home.

Oh man, my house that I sold had crappy wiring and the inspector didn't even know. Ended up costing me $450 in electrical repair in order to get my dishwasher running and various outlets working. Hopefully you don't need to spend that much. lol

The seller of the house did not mention any of the shoddy ass wiring.

I already know I'll need to replace and upgrade my circuit panel. So the more I find and can get done all at once the better I guess? (Would be better if there wasn't any more crap to deal with...)
Also want to add a plug for a welder and a few more outlets in the garage.

If one particular GFI is giving you grief without getting wet, swap it out. I did it in my kitchen after the damn outlet would stop working every 3 days or so. Swapped in a new one and the problem was solved

Good advice here! GFCI 's aren't meant to be tripped repeatedly and wear out. My garage outlet was the main point of power use during the construction of the house and must have been abused. It tripped too easily when we moved in. Replaced the GFCI outlet and it fixed the problem.

Sometimes I get tired of them popping and put a regular one back in...;) I know prob not "per code" but it worked before GFCI's...

This rain has been crazy (for Utah). As a PNW transplant, watching everyone freak makes me laugh. Seattle would rain for 3 months straight and no one would bat an eye.
