I forgot this thread existed. Bobsled was running pretty damn good recently. surprised it's running well in august!

also...anyone have beta on how you're supposed to do the crest now that the road is technically, "closed" to cyclists? Recently did the crest to rattlesnake, and just jumped on the road between rattlesnake and the gate and got stopped by UPD...

Oh yeah, and if anyone wants a new free ethirteen tire it’s yours. 27.5.
And if you have a park stand, I have a new tool tray for it, trade me a good sixer and it’s yours.

Heard it was sloppy yesterday. They closed everything yesterday. Not sure if they decided to reopen it or not.

I sold my fat bike and don't miss it, but on days like today, I think about it a little.

    Haha!

never had a fat bike. not really interested in it. happy to ski during the winters but sometimes, there are days where I really want to get on my bike. EaMo scratches the itch a little.

I know! I was looking back at Strava and a couple years ago, I'd ridden gasline/ rattler every day this same week. I also rode Bobsled in Feb!

Thankfully Bellingham and STG the next 2 weekends will scratch the itch.

My wife and I have been having this debate too!

I'd call myself a skier first though and this is such a historic year, you gotta keep embracing it IMO.

haah! i'm the opposite. mtb first.

I like to say that there are people who ski to survive winter. and there are people who bike to survive summer. I'm the former. my girlfriend leans more latter. Although, she's leaning more towards the former these days. lol.

but yes, it is a historic year and really cool to see some of these snow levels.
