Doesn't really show them all that well, but we have a late 90's polaris and Artic Cat. I absolutely love the Polaris, very sporty.
I'm kinda jealous of you guys with the new Polaris sleds....man those are so bad @ss!

2000 XC 500..bought it new my senior year of highschool. It just sits in the basement collecting dust with only 3K miles logged in. Pic is what it looked like stock. I put in white face gauges, short blacked out windshield, headlight cover and painted the screens purple. thing looks like an antique compared to the new gen sleds.

Nice looking sled, those 500s are tough engines. A buddy of mine has one with 12k miles on it with only minor repairs to it.

if you use anything but skidoo injection oil in the etecs you can kiss your engine (and warranty) goodbye. Although there is a recall on 2011 800 etecs that replace your top end and crank seals free of cost after you reach 3500 miles.

So guys I didn't have a sled last winter (first winter with the truck) and now I'm hoping to be picking up a new sled this week, and the ski width is over 42"...so how do you guys load your sleds in your Tacoma's or do you just trailer it?

I trailer mine... But some people put wooden pallets in the bed so the sled sits just about the wheel well, or build a small wooden platform. I have seen a couple small sled decks made for one sled, that could possibly work on a tacoma.
