I'll start this with saying I'm not a mechanic and am very new to tacomas so my info may be off.

I have a 2017 Tacoma Sr (Super base model, 4cyl with an Access cab) and I've recently purchased Slee's mounting bracket with ARB compressor with manifold to hopefully install air lockers somewhere down the line.

I've spent the past couple days now pulling my hair out trying to install the bracket but have been running into a couple issues. 1st) Where Slee instructs to install the main bracket on the PS fender. My truck already has what I believe to be a Fuel Injector Control Module (tacoma 89580-35020) which I've come to terms I'll need to relocate to install the bracket. 2nd) the support arm doesn't line up with the main bracket and is pressed right up to the hose that connects my air filter to engine (As far as I know the air intake is stock).

I've contacted slee and they told me the kit should fit with a 4cyl.

Has anyone had a similar experience or is able to shed any light on this?

I've looked into a grille mount before, my only concern is I live in a pretty hot climate and would be afraid of blocking air flow especially during the summer.

I haven't even though of a new intake so I'll definitely look into that!
