I'm in the same boat. A few swigs of any of that and I'd be in for a restless, head-achy, awful night of tossing and turning.

Yup, I can say I've tried everything in that pic. MD 20/20 would be my choice if I had to pick one.

I wouldn't want to do it day after day, but if weather permits, just lean the seat back maybe with a small pillow and blanket and go to sleep. I used to go to the lake where I kept my boat and fish in the evening, do this sleep thing and get up early and fish then drive home. For that, I'm not going through all of these gyrations. Just go to sleep man. If you've got a buddy in the other seat, this could be a problem depending on if you had Mexican food for dinner.

I have slept in my driver's seat many times. I am 6'4" tho so not a lot of options. Pull in, recline, wake up several hours later, pee and be on my way. You just have to be able to sleep on your back is key. Everyone is different though.

With my Lomax cover on the bed I just open the tail gate and slide in with a sleeping bag. Keeps me dry and warmer can also close the tail gate and crack open the last part of the cover for air works good too.

In my 2017 access cab no back seat. I have napped in the truck without difficulty. Just have to be sure everything is out from behind the seat. Put the seat all the way back and then full recline. It's OK for a few hours just to recover, but no way would I want to sleep in it for more than that. No rollover room to adjust pressure points on body.

Yup taking junk out and setting up my bed roll in the back in the shell obviously sleeps better but I've certainly logged plenty of hours in the drivers or passengers (drivers side ain't got much foot room with 3 pedals) seats just laid back and headrest reversed, that's the critical piece!

Honestly sleep pretty alright like that, I put a little travel pillow or roll up a hoodie or towel and stick it in the notch to support my bad lower back making the seat a little flatter overall helps too.

Yeah. The bed rocks . That's my camping setup these days.

I drive barefoot, so getting my feet behind the pedals is pretty normal for me to stretch.

The Taco is such a swiss army knife. I don't see myself parting ways.

Thanks everyone for the input. I debated removing the seats but for now this is just a weekend camping thing so I don’t want to do that but it looks like the best way to go if I went on a long adventure. I will try a few things and see what works. I like sleeping in The cab versus bed for safety and because my bed is full of my stuff. I doubt I can sleep in a seat laid back but will try. Thanks again.

There's a reason why my old Fleetwood was a great college car. Room enough to seat 10 people, 6 of which were legal, or sleep 5 comfortably depending on how much luggage was in the trunk.

5 6 ish with no dogs, if you put the rear seats down, throw couch cushions back there, you might be able to make it work. Downside would be zero storage space, but you'll have the bed still.

Tried the cab sleeping on a couple different camping trips. Cracking open the moon roof if you have it helps with moisture build up, a pillow at the head rest is a must, recline as far back and sleeping on my side helped but im only 5’7.
