Oh yea I should update this today

Had an issue with my Anzo headlight harness melting some on the driver's side where the bulb plugs in. I jimmy rigged it a to get it home with some H11's I had. The H11's are definitely not the same screw pattern so I needed to trim some of the metal off to get it to fit. Also the pattern of a H11 internal is not the same as an H9 so I needed to trim it. This has given me the excuse to get a pair of LED headlight and fog light bulbs (Thanks for the suggestion @digitaLbraVo !) The link to the headlight and fogs are here:

Oh and I swapped out the Rough Country for a pair of Rigid D2 LED Pods and couldnt be happier If anyone is interested in the just the pods I am willing to sell them. I am keeping the harness only because it was already in the truck and swapped with the Rigids stupid easy. I am keeping the Rigid harness too only because of warranty precautions. Ill have pictures of the Rigid later!

I hope you end up liking those lights @Sleipnir! I'm still adjusting to the change and arguing with myself internally whether the bulbs are aimed right on my end! I quite like the low beams though.

 

I hope so too ! I think theyll do the job quite nicely! I have to figure out a way to make them work with the Anzo headlights since the boot is a little different but Ill be alright. I wonder how long it takes for these to be shipped out and how long shipping takes? I want to have these before the SPI cruise comming up to show off all the fancy LED's

 

Heheheh mine came in really fast he ships from Colorado so you can judge it from there. Hit up @LovelandTaco if you need a tracking number. If the boots on those Anzo lights are like stock just cut as little as possible until it fits nice and tight. They're a pain in the ass to get on and off but that means they're sealed!

 

Ill give it till the end of today since the order is Awaiting Fulfillment right now. I'm hoping its super quick so I can have them in for the SPI meet on the 23rd. The boot is a little different since they cover the entire. Here's a link to what I am talking about. I dont see any issues with air flow for the fans just need to figure something out. Gives @ChadsPride to come down and help me and so he can get his lights already

 

Just got word from Innovative Wiring that they should have my H9 connectors to me in 2-3 days! Woot! Gotta say that place was definitely had me sweating bullets for a day but once I emailed Gary he jumped right on it

What do you guys think of do Baja fenders and bed? Still debating on the look but would be a cool mod one day.

 

I like how fiberglass fenders and flared bedsides look. Can get kinda pricey though.
