Rest of the parts showed up today! Now just waiting on an inventory check-in and then they'll get started on this beast!

Also, I was going to buy a pair of Raptor Take off rear shocks from the engine builder and he ended up just giving them to me

Have to say that Ryan at RMB is a stand up guy and I bet he could build an engine for @OVTune for their new TT kit ;)

Since we don't have much Bs in here I'd figured I'd show my weight loss progress :D

Down 8.4 lbs in a month and about 25lbs total!

That’ll be fun I’ve been wanting to get into biking. Maybe this fall I’ll get one been looking at a GT avalanche it’s the only affordable decent bike I’m comfortable on.

Honestly for the price and what you get I think the GT Avalanche is too much. Maybe when theyre on sale but still not the best bike. I would look into a Trek Marlin 5 or 6. Internally routed frame, great drive train and the 2020 Marlin 6 has a 2x drivetrain which is awesome. I have a 2019 Marlin 7 and when I grow out of it I am gonna get a Roscoe 8 next.

Sporting good stores like Academy and Dicks dont really know about bikes and the ones they sell arent the best.

Trek is my go to but check around local bike shops too! Test ride some and see what fits you best :D

For the same price as the meh GT I would go with this 2020 Trek Marlin 6 :D

    https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/...s/marlin/marlin-6/p/28787/?colorCode=greydark

Then we can hit up spider mountain :D

I’m more concerned with going around the block first before attempting any trails let alone a mtn.:anonymous:

Time for a new bike I think ;)

You can always come down this way! There's a bike track near my house thats free and actually pretty great for people like us starting to learn to bike.

It's at the Seguin Outdoor Learning Center
