You could do it :D It's just a matter of learning the lingo. Other than that it's pretty much all the same

I agree, they are basically the same. All the people who have gotten GCP SA Pro certified here at my job currently now all work for Google. Not a bad reason to study that lol

I would agree as well, its a marquis employer for a resume.

The last SA who got hired from here to go work there got a massive deal... bordering around 300k in total comp. Those are some serious numbers there

Oh definitely! When you are in the role, have the experience and the certs it pays to play. The big companies pay for talent which is a plus for me. My current company made an offer I couldnt refuse to move to them and I am hitting that glass ceiling quick. My next step is management I think but Ive got a few years. I love being in an SA role because salary + commission is nice  Any SA will tell you that the commission should never be based on a sale but overall technical performance which is what makes the role so enticing.

    Hell yes!!

On a side note, I was a manager for 4 yrs prior to this and I dont think I would do that again. Having to baby sit adult children is just silly. People need to pull their baby diapers up and man the fuck up sometimes LOL
