    I've been wanting to do that trail with my Tacoma (on 31's) for a while.
    I like the idea of during the week, but it will be a day-trip for me.
    Put me down as a maybe, for now.
    What is your estimated time for hitting the trail (Alpine to Utica) Friday?

    I would say running trail starting around 9 am. Good camp spot is right before the first main obstacle (the off camber wall). It's maybe 20-30 minutes from Lake Alpine down the trail

    Thanx. Is that where you will likely be?
    I'm assuming to get to the camp is via West Lake Alpine Rd then Forest Rd 7N17 ?

    I think I'll be starting vacation on the 7th :) I think leaving on that Friday would be best for me tho. Run the trail Saturday?

    I don't like camping on the 4th. Not much space available. but actually...I think I might camp both weekends..lol..so indecisive :p
