Going to buy some BAMF sliders this week. Which angle is everyone running? I'm assuming 20 is best? I can also see the benefit of the 10 using it as a partial step. Not really sold on the 0. Can't find that many pics on here. Curious to hear your thoughts! Post pics please!

I have 15* on my SOS sliders with fill plates and they still work well for a step. Depending on if you deal with trees and side impact or pivoting the less the angle the more they stick out to help with that. Really I think 15 or so is about right, but I haven't ran anything else so don't have any real experience with a different angle.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
90% of sliders ordered from us are at 20 degrees and that's what i would go with.

These still look very usable as a side step as well, especially with the grip on them.

Pretty much this. I am more worried about lateral slides into trees on icy trails than pivoting off rocks. If I was mainly pivoting off rocks in an area severely lacking in chlorophyll would go with closer to ~20° offset. So I went with zero offset, had them built by a guy\company in Wi.

Going with zero offset does increase your width a little bit. Not a problem if the road is wide enough for the Taco to start with though. Dog likes them a lot and many people have asked me where I got them.

I have 20 deg. mobtowns. Haven't used them on rocks yet. At 20 deg., you get a higher step which helps on cleaning the truck and better protection height from door dings (probably on the trail too).

No trees yet for me. Branches sometimes get kicked up and end up hitting the sliders, but any angle would help you there. For all the trails I've been on in the lava here, I've been lucky so far to not need it yet (though I've come close). I got it for peace of mind and that's why I like them. I'm not afraid to place the high rocks or crests under the rocker panel.

Plus sliders just look awesome. The angle up look makes them stand out from the running boards. For as much Tacoma's there are in Hawaii, I'm one of the very very few who have sliders. Maybe it's because everyone else is jacked up so high they'll never need sliders.

I don’t think the angle really affects much in this regard.
