IS it possible to line-x the bottom of the frame to prevent rust?

Sure, anything is possible. Not sure how this applies to sliders though.

I just picked up my sliders today. Had to drive across the border and get them from my US PO Box. I bought from Mobtown Offroad during the Black Friday sale. I spent all day prepping and painting. I have a few more coats to do tomorrow. Hopefully I can let them bake and dry in my garage and then get them mounted up soon. I'm excited to see how they will look on my truck.

I wire wheeled them, sanded them, rubbed them with a green scotch pad, I then cleaned with acetone and then hit them with two coats of self etching primer. I'm painting them with "Rocker Gaurd" which is a rubberized paint.

    Painted and mounted pics soon!

It's difficult to tell from the pictures but which of these sliders are the lowest profile and fit tightest to the body? I want sliders but don't want them sticking out 6 inches from the doors ya know?

Also, gonna probably go weld-on because they are, in most cases cheaper, but has anyone run into trouble with the frame rusting/being damaged from the welds or even any warranty issues down the road?
