Sliders: Angled, Flat, Tread plates?

Nice, looks like very minor angle. I am still leaning towards exactly that

 

I am unfamiliar with the RSG but I can tell you that after dealing with RCI on 3 different occasions, they are extremely professional and their customer service is second to none.

How good of a pup?

Works ok as a step and the dog has no problems hopping in and out.

 

I have angled cbi with kick out. No plates.

Absolutely not dog friendly. Learned this the hard way (shes ok). Either getting rid of them or getting plate welded to them.

 

Just get @JDEMELLO and call it a day..

How much fluid film did you guys need to install the sliders? Looking to probably spray down the contact points on both the slider and frame for extra protection. 1, 2, 3 cans?

 

I did @Mobtown Offroad flat with kick outs, and fill plates as my wife it 5'1" and I don't need her slipping a foot in between the bars.

 

I almost got by with one. I ran out halfway through the second side. I would get 2 cans and apply liberally.

 

Sweet, 2 cans is about what I was thinking. Wash the underside off the day before and let it dry. Spray on, wait over night, install sliders next day.

 

I really like the look of the RCI sliders. That said. What are people’s thoughts at the front of the Slider. It looks like it doesn’t provide enough forward protection to me. Is this where most sliders start? I feel like most I’ve seen provide a few more inches of coverage in the front. I’m definitely considering it myself for my truck.
