I think the "and" between the two nouns makes it pretty obvious he's talking about two separate people....

Oxford comma requires a list, meaning 3 or more. This usage example is 2. Don't have your english corrected by an Engineer, it is embarrassing. Engineers are good at STEM, not liberal arts.

If you have dogs I highly recommend fill plates. I have two old pups that ride in the back seat all the time. A couple months back my girl dog Annie slipped getting out and her back leg went between the bars and the rocker panel. She totally tweaked her leg and let out a big yelp... at first I thought she broke her leg. It scared the shit out of me. Luckily she was fine but I wasn’t willing to take another chance and made my own makeshift fill plates out of diamond plate aluminum and roll bar pipe straps. It gets the job done for now but wish I bought sliders with plates from the start.

    I too can Google...

I never said he needed to add a comma, you posted the deffinition of 'and' so I thought we were just posting silly things, it was the first thing to come to mind though irrelevant.

Still, I'm no LA major, but the quickest way to learn anything on the internet is to be wrong. So I'll take the lesson with me, I now have a better understanding of the Oxford comma.

Irregaurdless, it was a poke at bad english, step should have been pluarlised or 'my' placed in front of girlfriend as you changed mid sentence from singlar subject to multiple object, but I digress.

It was ment to be a joke, you know, like the funny kind, but different here I guess. I think it's fun and or funny to correct and be corrected with bad English, typos, form, etc. Life is too serious laugh where you can. Poking at these highlights how poor a language English really is.

I wasn't directing any hate toward you. Just grabbing the low hanging fruit. Sorry.

    I'll see myself out.

Anyway, sliders yeah, get the plates! Worth the money and it's much easier to remove the plates down the road if you decide you hate them than it is to weld new plates in if you decide you want them.

I use mine mainly as steps so they were made at 0 degrees tip and I added the metal fill material. Works great for washing the truck, dog jumping in the back, kid, etc...

Those sliders look like they have an awful lot of unsupported length to them... That looks like 18-20" from the back of the slider to the rear most support leg. That should work fine as a step, but I' hate to tag that rear section on a rock or something.

:notsure: Good question. They are SOS bolt on sliders and I haven't hear of anyone having issues. Being a mall crawler, I probably will never know if they bend.

Depends on how hardcore you mall crawl...

This guy probably could've used some decent sliders. :D
