Proud owner of a 2021 Tacoma Off Road Access Cab here. I know there are a million posts of rock sliders but I'm when I look for them online, I tend to see ones that are steps, many of which actually jut out, which I would think would decrease the truck's clearance (I also don't care about having steps - it's just me hopping into the truck). Are there any sliders that are just a basic protective tube that bolts on to the frame? Appreciate any feedback and sorry if the question is foolist - I welcome being educated!

Your question is probably analogous to the good, fast, cheap, pick two. You can't have all three. Randy Ellis Design produces a nice body mounted set, they are not cheap.
