Sorry (not really). First, the guy can't spell. Second, he isn't a vendor. And third, if he wanted to drum up business for a product he would put up a group buy where TW members could buy their product at a good price.

It's a silly facepage promo to get traffic, and doesn't help TW members at all.

I have done a group buy also did free shipping on bed racks on TW.

I am looking for better ways to put out my stuff for TW.

    Sorry for the misspelled words.

OK. Fix your website. That would go a long way for showing off your products, and present a professional appearance. Talk about the materials, equipment, and processes you use. Then create a giveaway that is easy for people to participate in.

Right now this Mickey Mouse crap is doing little to attract customers.

I'll tell you what... since I am such a nice guy, I'll let you send me the sliders and a rear bumper. You pay shipping. And I will set you up with a professional website... on your own domain. This way, you can still give your products away AND attract more customers with a fancy website. Problem solved.

He takes the ribbing now, it helps him get serious about getting his online marketing together, and then he laughs all the way to the bank. I think he'll be alright.

    1. Create a thread for the giveaway, asking people to post why they want them. Post a picture of the sliders to be given away, and have a set date on the thread for people to get there posts in by.

    2. Pick a post number (the post # is on the right corner of replies) of that thread at random. Author of that post # gets 'em.

I think you original idea is a good one. Its understandable that you want to use social media to get your name out. Not everyone uses social media, but how hard is it to start a account, figure out a way to make it open to instagram also or other social media. for example, i probably wouldn't participate on facebook and tell everyone hey like my picture so i win shit! but i might join and like your page, or i might start a instagram account, post a picture of my truck and tag your company. Maybe do something like that, then pick a random winner out of everyone who joined, liked, followed, tagged whatever. Just so you know i already have sliders, so im not trying to tell you what would be convenient for me. I wont be entering.

You just need to be more organized. Show us the product. The idea of a "free" giveaway, but the winner has to pay shipping sucks. So either advertise the contest as "winner gets a set of sliders for $100" and eat the additional cost of shipping. Or better yet, eat the cost of shipping all together, more people will participate.
If you want to give in and not use social media maybe there is other ways to advertise. Send out stickers. For us to enter the contest we have to post a picture here on TW with one of your stickers on our truck. Probably not the best idea, but hey, i dont own a business, you do. You need to think of creative ways to advertise.
