not sure why they are called

    sliders........

some call em running boards ........nerf bars...........side steps

i get the impression you want them to protect the cab underside

very FEW will if laid up againsttimer or rocks

very similar to brush/bull guards.................................. can easily be useless or cause more damage

    mine are stainless
    look good
    offer little protection

    Mods? Yes.
Because running boards, nerf bars, and side steps are completely different things than rock sliders.

I love them and yes it was 100% bolt on. There are 2 videos on YouTube that show how to install it. I would recommend watching both to get a good sense on how to install it.

You add some grip tape to yours? You ever rub your leg on it while getting out?

Shit yeah i did rub my leg multiple times, first time i did it i was wearing shorts. I have gotten in the habit of stepping on them when exiting my truck so its not an issue anymore.

I've been really happy with my sliders from Relations Race Wheels, but others have not been so lucky. Q&A has been hit and miss:

I just put my @CaliRaisedLed 25 degree sliders on this morning. They tuck up close to the body which is what I wanted, my only real complaint is I wish they stuck out an inch maybe inch and a half more, but I could have also gotten the 0 degree ones that stick out more. Install wasn't bad at all, I was able to do it by myself in my garage with an air boot on my left leg for a broken leg. The drivers side is a bit of a pain, passenger side goes quickly. They feel very sturdy and look great imo. I bought them bare and used etching primer and matte black spray paint to coat them.
