So I have sliders and have been wanting to put them on for some time but I have this weird box on my frame. What is it and how can I install my bolt-on All Pro sliders with this thing in the way?

Am I going to have to drill into the slider mounting plates so I can re-install the box?
Has anyone just relocated this thing? It's on the passenger side right under the front passenger seat

The driver side of the frame looks like this.

Is that going to be an issue.

I really want to know what the hell that thing is. It doesn't look important. Torch that shit off.

(Free bump, curious to see real solution)

I have no idea what that is.

This is the passenger side of my 13.

Crazy! I've not see that before. My 13 frame is as pictured by 'RearViewMirror'. I haven't seen anyone comment on that with the 14's either. Does the black cover come off? That would probably shed some light on what that is. Or, call the service department at your dealership and ask.

Worst case, you could just drill the AP sliders and bolt this back over the top. No biggie unless it's mounted in some goofy fashion through the frame or the AP legs/braces get in the way.

That isn't one of those trackers some auto finance companies put on incase you skip on a payment is it? Or low jack? Never seen anything like that.

won't work on trucks or cars. only boats. I looked into it years ago to try and save my POS. it's a rip off scheme.

. Don't know about the box but this bracket matched up on my allpro heavy duty sliders. There is a hole to remount the bracket in the same location with original bolt. It was on my driver side though, but it shouldn't matter except one of those holes should be used for mounting the slider. One should be threaded ( for the bracket) and one not (for the slider mount).

I was told by a local Toyota parts guy that part # shows to be a wire loom running from the back of the truck to the front then into the cab to the ECU. He thinks that cover is just there for protection of the wiring.
