Sliders on a first gen

    Do the sliders act the same as the nerf bars or are they for protection of the body only? They do not look like they extend far enough out for step into the vehicle.

    This depends on what "sliders" you purchase....Some are set up to JUST cover the rockers while others can be out the distance of the seperator bars....If your willing to PAY for custom,talk to any of the Vendors here and have a set designed around your needs...

    getting there....
    the sliders i got from revenge-fab are for rocker protection, but they stick out far enough to use as a side step as well.
