Oh but I AM planning on wheelin' with 'em. Going 100% bolt to frame/not to body. I'm hoping to get some specific CURRENT feedback on the trail gear sliders. I can get them in short order. Not wanting to wait 2 or 3 months.

Can't tell you about the Trail Gear Sliders but I can tell you good things come to those that "can" wait. I had to wait for about 2.5 months but it was well worth the wait for mine. I don't skimp on anything when it comes to my truck. If it requires me waiting on the best then that's what I'll do.

Check us out in the side of the home page under vendors. We offer no drill, bolt on rock sliders and have a 2 week lead time.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...oma-rock-sliders-from-mobtown-offroad.372422/

We also offer the strongest set out there. Not only do we use same material of construction and bolt through existing holes in chassis using grade 8 hardware, but we've made three major improvements over the common weak points in bolt ons.

In the middle of the sliders where it is bolted to the chassis, we have designed a clamping system that wraps around the chassis "boxing" it in to eliminate any twist. Toward the back end of the flange, our attachment point not only bolts through the chassis but then clamps down tight using Beam Clamps which are used to hold structural i-beams together and are rated at 12,000lbs a piece and we have 4. Last improvement is the moment arm at the end of the square tube under the cab or bed of the truck. We added an additional extended square tube as a gusset. We did extensive testing and found without it, the tube is weak and will flex causing damage to the truck.

    Pm me with any questions.

Relentless Fab also makes nice bolt ons too. And last I heard and seem from several members on TW they are true bolt on with no drilling.

What is it in Az you're doing that a bolt on slider won't work ? & as far as hardware goes any legit fab shop is using material that exceeds OEM specs. Keep in mind that welds break too...
