    A few bolts are different.
there on ebay also, dono the price difference but their there. I'll also say the factory steps have held up really well.

Edit: if you go the step rout, the factory ones are very nice and fit perfectly.

Just checked out their site, I see the offer a silver color, any idea of what that looks like especially on a silver Taco. They also talked about the extra support. What do all think about this, I would hate to order a set, and down the road find out I needed something else

+1. Black is the best. Unless you're like xtreme450 and go raw steel - that looks pretty sweet too...

Shrockworks is the best (from what I hear and read). All Pros are good but I've heard reports that it's "possible" that they could bend under extreme circumstances. I haven't read many good things about trail gear.

But, take this with a grain of salt. I have no direct experience with any of them. I've bought All Pros, but not installed or abused them yet...

Ok dumb question, the Shrockwork's say they bolt on, would you all still weld.
No issue either way on this end...like I said before want to cover all bases.

My tube steps suck, I don't use them. Even with a lift they are to close to the door sills. Now that it's snowing all they do is get my jeans dirty. My freind said to use them, I hit my head getting in. go with the sliders.

Sliders. Before I got the Tacoma I used a rock proof Jeep CJ-5 for my offroad needs. On counless occasions I had to use a Hi-Lift jack to free myself or overcome an obstacle (not too many winch anchors in the desert) and the Tacoma has no jacking points for a Hilift aside from the tow-hitch; this is a major concern for me. By installing sliders, I'll effectively be able to hi-lift 3 out of 4 sides of the truck, and if the jack is placed at the front of the sliders it will still allow lifting of the front end...at least one corner. Not to mention the protection factor for "rock sliding", find one good rock in a nasty switchback and the sliders just paid for themselves. It can be the difference between having a sweet pivot point around a rock, or a fat bill from the body shop. Plus if you've ever had to use a bottle or scissors jack to change a tire in rocky or muddy conditions you'll definitely appreciate that Hi-Lift!

I haven't got them yet but I'm going with a set of Stubbs Welding sliders. The design looks good and the price is comprable to similar quality brands, plus their shop is only a couple hours away from me.

I got my early Christmas present two weeks ago.. I picked up a pair of Four Real Steel sliders at a rediculous price. Daystar was discontinuing the line, so I picked up a pair of $500 sliders for $199!!! Just waiting until my buddy has some free garage time available, then I'll be mounting them up. Until then I'll be thinking about wether or not to Line-X them before mounting them. (My buddy is a Line-X dealer)

No on the All Pros. And I know silverback had to drill out the holes for his shrockworks, so I don't think so there either...

So there are some holes already there to start and then you add the others, correct?
