I really like my @Pelfreybilt bolt on sliders with kickout and fill plates. They have a burly mounting plate to keep everything strong (much stronger than I really plan to ever need). I wanted bolt on because my truck is 4 years old and there could be a hundred different reasons to want to remove them - which would be significantly more difficult with weld on. If my truck was an older rock buggy, I'd go with weld on. I have Pelfrey skids, so I knew there'd be no interference issues.

These are worth seriously considering. I love things that are "over built" - this is just plain beefcake. Great looking product, sir.

Thank you. We design them to be abused.

    My $.02:

I have BAMF bolt on sliders and they are amazing. Easy to install and as others have said, the full bolt on plate strengthens the frame rail. Although theoretically, even weld on sliders would do that. I've used them several times to rotate tires, or work on the truck. Took a hit once with no damage to show for it, but it was minor compared to some of the stuff I've seen other guys put their sliders through. One thing I have not seen mentioned is that with the bolt on plate, you're creating a space for moisture, mud, snow and salt to collect and get trapped if you live or wheels in areas where that would be a factor. This could be a concern as our frames are know to rust as they are. I took preventative measures when I installed my sliders and coated the inside of the slider plate and frame rail with fluid film just in case. Spray and wipe down for a thin even coat. Not sure if it will make a difference in the long run or not, but a little prevention should help. If I ever need to remove the sliders to repaint or for any other reason, I'll check my frame and address the issue if necessary. For now, there is no noticeable damage.

I slathered the entire frame rail under the mounting plate with Valvoline Crimson grease to prevent moisture intrusion and corrosion.

Use POR-15 on your sliders before paint to keep from rusting. I just had @Bruteforce Fab sliders welded on. Billy is the man. Can't go wrong with anything he sells.

Side note. If you Fluid Filmed your frame, it's flammable....

I slathered the boxed sections with it. Had a nice little fire on both sides

Nothing a little compressed air blown through couldn't fix, but just be aware!

I went with Evan at Marshall Fabrication (he is a tw member). He makes a great set of bolt on sliders with a kick out. Really reasonable prices and I was able to have them powder coated. They look great and are strong enough for a high lift. They do require drilling for added strength. http://www.marshallfabrication.com/

I have 4Xinnovation bolt ons. Have had them on two trucks, that right there is my selling point.
