    Dogs are better than most people!
    Ramps, steps, lift em,,, something other than jumping,,, unfortunately that phase ends quickly and is hard on our loved ones.

    Top plates...agreed they're safer than the open tubular sliders. I'll add, make sure you see what the top plates look like. I bought sliders with top plates because of the dog. I didn't look close enough at the top plate pics on the website before I ordered and was kind of surprised how big the holes were when I got them. Big enough my 50 lb dog's leg could fit through. Never was an issue but lesson learned.
