Scene RCI is literally in my backyard I am leaning towards there rock sliders. I have a 2023 sport really won’t be going off road on purpose so they would be mostly Aesthetics. Please tell me the good, bad and the ugly.

Heavy, expensive, can be tricky to install, do not make as good a step as Toyota aluminum (light, less money) Predator steps.

    My $0.02.

This is the answer^^. My All Pro LB sliders weight around 80-90lbs each. If you are not planning on hard off roading I would stick with steps or nothing to have more clearance. You could get aluminum sliders for looks and a little protection.

As rock sliders go, I would take the weight, the install, the limited step-up, the cost ... still cheaper than splitting the cab and you get a jack-up point.

I love my Westcott Design sliders. But they were $1575 shipped and that was after mil/vet discount.

Not too heavy. In hindsight I wish I had gotten them rino lined instead of powdercoated and wish I had gotten the 20° angle sliders instead of the 0°. Aside from that they work, they're heavy duty and I love em.

They saved my truck on my first outing going down the Alpine Loop trail into Ouray. Most brutal 2.5 hrs ever, but not a knick on the truck. I need a 3.5" lift and some 33's if I want to do that trail again. Ugh.

Thinking about getting new sliders. Which brand should I get?

If its just for looks then you could get the oem rock rails and save a lot of weight. I went the TJM route because it had clean lines and cover the fenders too, not just the cab and what I need them for isn't extreme.

    Work in progress...
If I wasn't going off road I would get some body mount steps. Super easy to mount, lighter, less expensive, better looking, wife friendly, more styles to choose from, more available and probably free shipping. Anyways, just a thought.

I have their 20 degree. Look good but they do bend more than I like. I've used them a few times to jack up the truck. They've been touched by trails once or thrice. :anonymous:

All said and done, the peace of mind is worth it. They're not that bad to install. Couple hours, basic tools, a little sweat.
