Thanks for investing your valuable time in my post. I have a need to attach my shower enclosure to a Front Runner rack with SLIDING nuts so that I can loosen the bolts attaching it to the rack. I want to be able to slide the shower out from the side of the truck about a foot, then tighten the bolts/sliding nuts down again while in use. Slide the whole thing back "in" and retighten for travel. I contacted FR and they couldn't help. My question: Have any of you needed sliding nuts for your build, and if so, which ones work best with FR's mounting grooves? Yes, I have tried doing it with M8 half-nuts. I've also tried using M8 bolts with thin heads. Both of which "hang" when you try to slide them. As there are four that need to slide, and all four must cooperate together if it is to work, and they hang up and won't slide. Hence my need for slide nuts. Thanks guys!

Thought about putting a Fridge Slide on the roof rack with Shower/Awning brackets?

What do you have the awning/shower mounted to currently? Awning mounts or some custom brackets?

I'll try filing those edges. Unfiled it binds up every time. Still, if slider nuts exist I'd rather use them. More bearing surface than the filed bolt.
