I had my fox dsc 2.5 coilover rebuilt about a month ago after a major leak and after the rebuilt there has been a steady drop of fluid that runs down the shaft. I have cleaned off the oil 5 time now and if continues to drip down, maybe a little less than half teaspoon of oil per week, but comes back every time I wipe it off. The shop that rebuilt them said it’s just a little extra oil that probably spilled during the reassembly, but the oil just won’t stop running down a month later. It’s not spraying out all over like it was before the rebuild, but is this cause for concern? Any help would be appreciated.

That's 5 mL of fluid every 2 weeks? In a year that'll be 130 mL leaked away. Return it to the shop as soon as possible. After about 3 months they won't own up to it.

Bad seal or loss of nitrogen pressure. Something on the shaft nicked seal.
