Hey folks. So I bent one of my LCA's while popping out the bushings (bottlejack/heat). It is literally off by about 1/8". Im curious if this is even an issue? Should I should attempt to bend it back, or will can the difference be easily corrected when I get an alignment?

Throw a ratchet strap across that one and ratchet until it matches the other.

Not sure how much clearance is there but you might have issues reassembling the front end.

    Yes
Your bushing sleeve is not going to be sitting square between the tabs on the frame so two corners of your bushings are going to be smashed which is going to wear them out really fast. I would get it back to being square before putting it back together.

damn... either way it is gonna cost more $. I dont know if a suspension/alignment shop could use a hydraulic press to push it back in place and if the other end wouldnt deflect first. That much offset is going to effect the caster and she could pull to one side.

What kind of use does the truck see ??

    That is the real Question

Since it moved just what else is kinked or stretched ??

It must not have been very Hot the paint is not burnt off.

Straighten it or Pop a used one in .

Run it like it is Maybe tweak the bushing to fit

Good excuse to SAS now or go Long travel !!
