well that all sucks ass but i can say i have been there before (except for the sick family thing). when i got my current job i had less than 4 dollars in my bank account, my appartment just burned to the ground (so i had nothing), and my woman left me. and i had just graduated so it was time to pay back student loans. i know it sucks but i'm sure you'll land on your feet. we all do eventually. Good luck man

Thanks nd. You're alright no matter what every single other person on this forum says! :D;)

Turns out today wasn't the interview for that job, today was fill out the application and we'll call you day. At least I got my name in there.

It appears my bank is gonna reverse DirecTV crap. The insufficient funds charges they caused are already back in my account. Hoping tomorrow morning I check and that 461 bucks is back too.

No call from the truck loan place yet. I'll call them later.

    Thanks again all!

finally got an update from my mother on my father. his surgery was supposed to be a two today. they changed it to four. then they changed it to six. then the came in and said the surgeon had an emergency at a different hospital and the surgery will be tomorrow.

so i guess he's in no immediate danger. it's wrecking my mothers nerves though.

Thanks again all. It's a few minutes after 3 so he's in surgery right now (hopefully), nothing to do but wait now.

The bank took the money back from DirecTV AND refunded the three overdraft charges they caused! They canceled my debit card and are sending me one with a new number so nobody can do this again. DirecTV is gonna be pissed...and that makes me smile.

Now if the money would just move from "pending transactions" into the account, I can stave off losing the house for a little longer.

Heard from the place I filled an application out yesterday. Now they're going to be collecting resumes until the end of next week. Looks like temp at WallyMart is the winner (for now).

For those keeping track (thanks again) I just got a call from my mother. There were "complications" during the surgery. He stopped breathing. He's breathing again on his own now but they're going to move him to intensive care after he leaves the recovery room.

no worries. i'm in the 90% of Americans that think they're good drivers and everyone else sucks.

besides last thing she needs is more of us in the hospital!

    ...and thanks!
