nah he barely knows who is there and who isn't. friend of mine told me she knew someone who was in a coma for two months, she kept talking to him and when he woke up he told her what she had been saying so I should be there anyways. but the hospital doesn't appreciate it.

Screw the hospital - if you can, and want or need to be there, then do it. It's for your father, your family and yourself.

    Good luck

i'm thinking if i piss off the nurses and orderlies taking care of him they'll take it out on him one way or another, so i won't push it. i'll head back down there tomorrow anyways, my mother will update me if there's any changes.

Jeeze, that's sad that that can even happen. But, I guess you are right.

Hopefully final update on my father: he's back home. has a nurse going to come to his house and stay a few hours a day.

he's still on oxygen, lung capacity isn't where it needs to be, and he has so many tubes and wires coming off him he looks like the inside of a pinball machine.

today i went down there and put the Christmas lights up on all the trees and bushes around his house (got the crap shocked out of myself with one his circa WW2 extension cords) and he's already talking about putting the lights up around the eaves himself.

    so he's gonna make it

gotta say again, thanks for everyone's wishes and prayers!

oh yeah, and i have an interview thursday!
