I installed these a while ago but never took pics. I had some Hella 55 watt lights behind the grill originally but they weren't very bright.

Do you even need the headlight and fogs with those. They are bright.

Wow, do you have any pictures at night taken from inside the cab so we can see what you see while driving? Those look nice.

I don't have any view pics of the hids from the driver's perspective. I need to find a dark place to light them up (too well lit where I live to see what they contribute).

Ahh, gotcha. I was just wondering and would assume that they make quite a difference. I have PIAAs behind my grill that are halogen. Someday I would like to put HID driving lights behind the grill as well as convert my fogs to complete the whole package since my headlights are already converted.

Yep. I got the 6000K lights. The nice thing about them is the ballast is built into the lights so you just wire them up to a power source and you're good to go (I'd recommend a relay setup).

I would. I was going to go to the one happening on the 18th but it was changed and I can't make it on a Sunday. I'm sure there'll be plenty of people there to help with it though. Here's a sample relay setup:
    http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/relays.html

You'll also want some aluminum or steel strips (Home Depot) to put behind the plastic as a support (3/4" to 1" wide should do). If you don't, your lights will bounce all over the place as the plastic housing isn't stiff enough. I also wrapped the wires in some plastic conduit to protect them.

Instead of wire crimps, I like Posi-Lock products. They don't rely on crimping and you can put them on by hand. I think they're more secure as well. They're also easy to take on-and-off and reuse if you make a mistake. You can find them in some Walmarts where you buy crimps.

Thanks a lot. I might not have this done for a while. Maybe I can shoot for the 2nd or 3rd mod day. I need tc uca's and tires first.
