Oh the suspense...

 

We are approaching the week mark from when I spoke with customs. I will be calling first thing tomorrow morning to get an update from both customs and DHL. I really appreciate everyone's patience with this and am grateful you guys aren't killing me yet. I promise to get these kits in my hands and shipped to you as soon as I can. I already have ALL the boxes and padding ready for shipment just need print shipping labels once kits are in hand. I will ship them out the same day I receive them. I'll get back to you guys tomorrow after I speak with both.

I had almost forgotten that you needed to be put on my needs-to-be-killed list. Endless delays in the swirling chaos that is my resent Life I had half forgotten that I was waiting for the HID lights. <g> So when I came on here to ask what's up - I see that a stack of people beat me to it.

Today is Friday making tomorrow a weekend so the idea of you getting the kits and shipping them out before monday seems very unlikely. I am east-coast so the idea of getting them before 3/21 seems even more unlikely.

I'm just trying the plan-my-life here - and not so much complaining. Although it does seem mildly unsportsmanlike that my credit card was charged in a nanosecond. <g>

Keep in touch - it's getting worse than surviving Christmas Eve here. <g>

Just so everyone knows about the payment of your kit. I received your payment up front so I could buy the kits in bulk from my supplier. When I placed the order at the end of the group buy I paid for all your kits in advance to be shipped to me and now they are on delay. It's not a matter of if I will receive them but rather when so please be patient with me as I wait for the kits.

Lol I'm still here! DHL contacted me yesterday requesting the DOT form I already submitted to them saying customs never received it. I faxed it in to them late yesterday and she emailed me confirming receipt and that she will follow up with me tomorrow (Wednesday) with any updates. This detainment bullshit is going to drive me nuts. My kits come with a 12 month warranty but for all your orders I will extend it for an additional year making it 24 months for the trouble.

Nice, now thats customer service! Things happen, and its unfortunate that it just happened with this deal in this way. It will be over with soon, just gotta be patient everyone. He didn't have to offer anything but he did in the form of extending out the warranty which is awesome.

Paypal guarantee, I've been burned in the past, just saying, HOW ABOUT A UPDATE or if needed refund us till you can perform sir.

 

Im not worried about it. Iv seen Slims group buys in the past and he is clearly a reputable vendor on here. Everyones going to get their product, nothing you can do about it if customs has them on hold...shit happens oh well, just be patient. He has already offered to double his warranty which was a really cool thing for him to do, not much he can do as far as updates go if customs has them there just going to say they haven't released it yet, he has already said hell get them out the DAY he gets them and I'm sure hell let us know when that is. He needs the money up front like he said to PLACE THE ORDER on the lights to get them for the good group buy price, people need to stop turding because it will get to you sooner or later. id hate to be the shop that works on some of your guys trucks. Iv had mine in the shop getting more fab work done for over 3 months right now, i don't think i can emphasize patients enough. Instead be grateful Slim takes the time to do these group buys for us!

Lol thank you for the post I appreciate everyone being patient as it's entirely out of my control until I get the kits. I called today and still same status and I will be calling again tomorrow. Trust me guys I call everyday and will continue until I get the update I want to hear. I have done a ton of group buys on here and would never want to damage my reputation or name. Trust me when I say that I am going to get these damn kits in my possession and the day I do I will post letting you all know and ship out.
