Before someone tells me to go search, I have.

I hit a huge pothole with my right front that knocked my alignment out and the slip indicator light came on. The ABS light did not come on. I had the truck re-aligned and the sensor re-set, but the light came back on within 30 seconds. I have tried the re-set methods here, jumping the pins on the OBD2 plug and I can get the light to go out and try to drive 1/4 mile to re-set, but the light comes back on as soon as I start driving.
I replaced the sensors in the wheel hub, tested the plugs/cables to the sensors, the problem still exists.
    Here is my question:
The speed sensors must read a magnetic ring/reluctor or something that is rotating in the front axle. Is it part of the hub assembly or the CV axle assembly? or?

    Thanks,

    Rod

If the sensor is getting a faulty reading, or no reading, I think you'd see more than one light. Did you check for codes and clear them, or just jump the pins on the OBD? There may be stored codes popping back up.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
clarify what you mean about resetting sensor.

    is steering wheel centered?
are you sure alignment is good?
    did you try VSC calibration?

Steering wheel is straight, Computer readout from alignment says everything is good (forgot the exact numbers), I scanned codes and cleared them. I did a VSC calibration shorting pins 4-12 4 times within 8 seconds, turned the key on and the slip light blinked. Turned off, started vehicle(light was out) drove 50 or feet and light came back on.

Now back to my original question, is there a component in the hub or cv axle that corresponds with the speed sensor that may have gotten damaged, if so, is it in the hub or cv joint?

    Thanks again.
