    I have a 09 TRD sport
I recently upgraded to a stoptech brake rotors and calipers. I also had to change out a couple brake lines. After the install I bled the brakes. Still a little air in the system so today I bled them again. With engine running bled all brakes till all air seemed out. Now I was ready for a test ride.
But the slip indicator and check engine lights are on. I also hear a whistling sound when I let of the brake. I am thinking it has to do with the ABS. But not sure. Any thoughts?

This is why I refuse to do my own brake system stuff.

Sounds like you need a pro to fix it.

I brought it to a shop that does brakes. He said I need to bring it to the dealership. Also the brakes are still spongy.

That's kind of scary actually if a brake shop couldn't do it right. :(

Definitely get it fixed before you continue driving it around town. The last thing you need is a brake fluid leak and suddenly have zero ability to stop your vehicle.

I'd say check all the fittings. I had it happen where the slip and a few other lights came on. Took it in and they said one of them was loose and leaking so check everything and maybe check reservoir too

Yup. I transferred the air from my brakes to my wallet.

Are you taking that invoice to the brake shop who caused the problem?

The OP is the "Brake Shop" that caused the air in the system. Self inflicted wound.

I will give a quick run down
I installed a 3" lift and stoptech brakes. I needed to extend my rear brake lines. The brake connection was seized. Since I didn't have brake tools and didn't want to take vise grips to the connection I figured it would be best for me to have the shop that is mounting and balancing my wheels do the extension.
Turns out I didn't notice that's what they did and the connection was so knarled up It was leaking, I lost the pressure in the brakes. So I broke the connections with vise grips and had to replace with a couple extensions from pep boys. After this after a few attempts couldn't get the air out.
That's when I brought it to a local brake shop that said bring it to the dealer "I'm going to do the same thing you tried"

The brakes work great now and I did go back to the original shop not because of the brakes but because they never informed me how short my lugs where after they mounted my wheels that I ordered with them
I had to pull the wheels, calipers rotors and back drums off to bang out the old studs and put longer ones on

Are you saying they mounted those wheels on the short studs and sent you on your way?
