My problem was I had driven around with the steering wheel crooked for like a month or so because I knew I was doing suspension work soon and would need an alignment again after that.

I think it is pretty funny that it lets you know when you are "slipping".

Yo guys, found this thread on a Google search and need to know more. Was driving around today in several inches of fine powder snow. For a couple miles or more it was a lot like driving in loose sand with the way it made my truck "bob and weave" left and right. I did notice at one point while I was trying to keep the truck in my lane, that I having to turn the steering wheel to the left (about 10:30 - 11 o'clock) to hold it in a straight line. I was in 4 high at the time by the way.
Anyway, I get up the road and notice the VSC light (slip indicator light... aka truck with squiggly lines behind it) was on. I tried to hit the traction control button and it was useless. I came to a stop and swapped to 2H and tried to fish tail just a bit to see if the nanny would kick in to keep me straight and it didnt. With normal driving conditions my alignment is fine and my steering wheel is straight. After some google searches I dont know if I need to have this angle sensor checked or reset my VSC that I found on another thread here.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
