Long story short, I self installed a 3in rc lift kit and now I'm getting some drive line vibration. I thought maybe the lift raised the drive shaft angle up to a point where it's putting some strain on the drive line. I figured maybe the slip yolk would fix the problem.

you need a slip yoke on the driveshaft, there is no reason to eliminate it.

Is there anyway then to lower the drive shaft a bit to deal with the vibration?

CB drop. Read and understand the thread on drive shaft angles before you just start throwing in spacers and getting frustrated.

There is no carrier bearing on regular cab trucks (one piece driveshaft). The only way you can change the angle of the driveline is by installing shims under the leaf pack.

Good catch! I didn't even look to see if he was driving a RC.

Regardless. A there is no SYE for our trucks. The slip joint is already in the driveshaft not the tcase. Best way to get rid of vibes is a one piece DC shaft

No, no, no, don't just guess and buy parts. Odds are you will compound the problem and make the problem more difficult to solve. First read this quick link on driveline basics. http://www.4xshaft.com/driveline101.asp. Then read this one that shows how to check your angles. http://www.4xshaft.com/tech_slopesVSangles.asp. Then you can actually begin to correct the problem.

chill out guys I haven't bought anything. I'm just spitballing ideas. I can't do a carrier bearing drop because my drive shaft doesn't resemble the ones featured in many of these threads. It seems to be so short that it's just suspended between the transmission and rear axle because it's so short. So there isn't a carrier bearing to lower.

this is solvable by you doing some work

    1) careful measuring of the existing angles according to
[numerous web articles on driveshaft alignment and vibration woes]

    2) shimming the leafs to get the correct angle on the pumpkin
