Issue is I’m driving the engine get up to high RPM 4-6 with little acceleration until I let off and let the RPMs settle. Only happens in 2nd and 3rd gear. Slipping transmission?

Are you saying that the RPM shoot up to 4,000-6,000 rpm all of a sudden. And that it still “slips” until you let of the gas pedal?

Please reword your post, the wording is a bit difficult to make sense of.
It doesn’t have to be technical speak, just tell us what is going on in your own words.

When I go from a stand still and hit the gas in first gear the RPMs go way up to 4-6 thousand range but the truck will hardly move. then once my truck get going a little (10-20mph) I let off the gas RMPs settle to 1-2 thousand. but in order to go faster and shift the same high rev and little acceleration I was able to limp it home around 30 but it’s definitely lacking any power. I found what seems to be a leak this evening. Not sure what it is though

    Manual or automatic transmission?

Sounds like your clutch is slipping.
