For testing purposes, you can feed 12V to the blower motor connector and see if it runs at the expected speed.

You can make a test light with a headlight bulb and plug it into the blower motor wire harness. Turn the fan control knob to max and check the bulb lights to full brightness.

Take the motor out, turn it on low and see if it's turning the right way. There should be an arrow on the wheel indicating the correct direction of rotation.

If you wan to see if it's wired backwards.
Put the AC in recirculate mode, switch the fan speed to HIGH and pull the cabin air filter.
If the air coming out the cabin air filter door is super fast, it's wired backwards.

When the fan speed is on HIGH, it bypasses the resistor.
The only thing it goes through then, is the fan speed switch.
Not saying it is, but the switch has been known to go bad in these trucks for that very reason.
Full chooch through the small switch contacts is not too good.

A centrifugal fan won't blow air backwards if it's running backwards it just won't blow much air, there's an arrow on the blower wheel indicating the direction it should turn. Easy to check if it's running the right way, we see this all the time on here when someone replaces a blower/connector often it's running backwards.

Why row the boat when you have a motor?

    Go straight to the motor.
If you are set on "testing" the motor for full power.
Apply your own Power / Ground.
Also, FWIW. The blower motor is backed by a 50A fuse. (I live life dangerously. You might not......)

    Black/Yellow - Power
    White/Blue - Ground
