Anyone have issues with a slow clutch return when the weather is cold? One the truck warms up the clutch returns back to normal.

Yeah, it’s been discussed here. There’s no real fix for it other than parking in a garage / out of the wind to mitigate it getting cold or letting the truck warm up.

You can do the accumulator delete mod (kits sold in the for sale section by @Trident904), but it won’t be a cure all for the cold weather pedal.

Problem is that the clutch uses brake fluid in order to simplify the truck and lower the parts count. Brake fluid needs to work well at really high temperatures so one of the compromises is that it isn't very viscous when it's cold.

Unfortunately nothing can be done. But the accumulator delete mod is a must.

Yuppers, it was 0F, this morning not including wind and my clutch was pretty tight and slow to return. This is perfectly normal, just drive easy for the first few miles and clucth goes back to normal.

Yeah. Same here. But it warms up after a few minutes and everything is okay.

It's an issue in every MT vehicle I have ever driven in cold weather and is completely normal. It's just physics. I find that after only a few minutes of driving (and taking it easy), it resumes normal operation with no issues.

+1 on the ADM too. It doesn't help much if at all with cold weather, but it does improve clutch feel and performance overall for sure.
