Slow returning clutch pedal

    On my dad’s 2004 Tacoma he had been noticing his clutch pedal is slow to return, to the point that sometimes he has to pull it up with the toe of his shoe. He says the pedal seems to be low in the morning when he gets in the truck. I have checked and the fluid level is fine and there is no obvious signs of fluid loss that I can see. So any ideas?

    does he still have any warranty on it with only 32k on it?

    No with it being a 2004 the warrenty ran out a couple of years ago.

    I don't know how long most warranties last as I've never had one. I thought 36k but wasn't sure if there was a year limit as well.

    it's a 3 year/ 36,000 mile, what ever comes first.

    Fabtech 3" adjustable coil-over system, Alcan 8-leaf spring pack, Fabtech 3" body lift.
    could be a slave, buy my issue was the master cylinder. when mine started doing it, I didn't worry about it for a while. Then at stoplights or intersections, etc., my clutch would engage itself while the pedal was pushed all the way to the floor. Got to be very very very dangerous. For a couple of days I before I got a change to fix it, I would just place the shifter in neutral and then place into first when i could. I replaced the whole clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate. after about two days, the clutch did it again. ended up replacing the master cylinder and it fixed the problem. just letting you know.
