Ordered (6) gaskets online the night of 11/18 (4) axle seals and (2) diff seals - for two trucks.

Camelback finally shipped them today 11/20

Now even though I paid for $20 for three day Fed-Ex express shipping I will not have them in time for this weekends third member swap.

I knew I should of just ordered from Rock Auto, Yota of Dallas, or drove to my local dealer because now I have to buy double what I need.

Toy of Dallas and Rock auto would of shipped next day guaranteed, but Camelback is all the rage these days so I figured I would try them out and spread the love.

Camelback taking 2 days to ship 6 simple gaskets is a joke in the parts world from what I'm used to dealing with. Heck Rock auto typically has parts at my house the next day or at worst 2 days later and that's standard shipping not an additional $20. So pissed I listened to others saying the service was fast. I'm kicking myself right now.

If I know I need something I try to buy it 2 weeks in advance, but if you are in the middle of something and need more parts then planned then you are always going to pay more to have it now (or with 2 days).

I ordered from Camelback a few weeks ago for a recent project and they shipped my stuff in about 2 days, and another 3 days in transit, but I planned ahead to have the stuff for the free weekend that I was dedicating to the project, so I ordered things 2 weeks in advance to be sure.

That sucks, especially since you paid extra for the quick shipping. I ordered a new center support bearing on Monday and it's scheduled to be delivered on Saturday. I guess most of the stuff I've ordered from them hasn't arrived quickly but I also haven't been in a situation where I NEEDED parts for a repair. As far as pricing goes though, if you need OEM parts, they're by far the cheapest around and their customer service is usually pretty damn good. I'd call Jorge tomorrow and see what he can do for you.

That's all the info I got man.

    Placed order 9:54PM EST 11/18
    Fed-Ex picked up 7:14PM EST 11/20
Scheduled Delivery to NJ 11/25 by 8PM

Rock Auto has Moog Serviceable OTR's. They ship same day or next day at worst.

Thanks for your insight to planning - not sure what your trying to accomplish with "your" way to do things, but Ive been a commercial project manager for the past decade so I know what I'm doing. Hell I have air filters in bulk that will last me till 2020.

Ever have the deal of a lifetime dangle in front of you and as soon as your done making it on the phone you IMMEDIATELY order the parts only to find out the parts supplier delays shipments for 24hrs. Yea.... it sucks.

Sorry to be a dick. I'm just pissed.

They should put a banner up stating they take two days to ship because that seems to be the consensus.

I just want quick service. Price I could really care less about. I know in most professions you can't have quality, low prices, and great service. What I didn't know is they are the cheap guy so that explains it.

Yes, today when I never got a tracking update yesterday. They said it would ship today. I should of just yanked the order while I had them on the phone.
Again - I know it's all my fault.

Just saying their shipping 2 days later blows and anyone in need of quick shipments should go elsewhere.

I'm sold on RockAuto. Their customer service is top notch. I ordered new rotors from them. One had an issue, called them up and had another one at my door the next day. Plus I have yet to find better prices on anything.

I think I agree with you OP, two days "handling" time is something we would tolerate back in 1999. If camelback needs two days to get their act together... that should be posted before you place your order.

I just ordered a gift from LL Bean for my Mom's birthday last night at about 11pm, and I got a shipping email with a tracking number today! I pretty much expect that if I order something online from any retailer, that it will ship the next day at the latest! Most ship the same day if I get my order in early enough.

I certainly do apologize for the inconvenience. You placed your order on 11/18 during the evening. I processed the order the following business day on 11/19 and emailed you (at 7:12 am MST) that we did not have the parts in stock and they needed to be ordered. The parts arrived the following business day and went out to you this very same day, with the shipping method that you selected.

If you would have contacted me stating that you needed the parts before the weekend I would have done everything possible to accomodate you. Those who have dealt with me in the past know that I try to do everything that I can to help out.

I just wish you would've contacted me prior to flamming me on the forum...

I tried contacting FedEx to see if I could upgrade your order to a Saturday delivery, but they said they were not going to able to upgrade it. I am going to go ahead and issue you a refund on your shipping fee for the delay and the inconvenience.

Please contact me directly if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Thank you,

    Jorge Rios
