i started building my taco about 6 months ago and I have been doing things here and there. So here we go with the pictures

very stock dirty tacoma. had to break her in when I got her.

plastidip my wheels for starters

months later I went ahead and bought ishock mid travel kit. I am really happy with it. had to do some ride height adjustments for my weight. Now i have to put it on the scales so i could balance out the corner weight

finshed up by plastidiping the rest of the grill.

as of right now i am fabing up a prerunner front bumper. I already started making templates have cut my mounting bracket plate. need more money for steel and gas for the welder.

the inspiration for the look of the bumper will be from the KR fab bumper that incorporates the top of the OEM bumper.

future projects will be sliders and rear tube bumper with swing out tire carrier.

now that i had time i started working on the bumper first i had the wrap aound bar bent up to what i wanted and getting it in the position i wanted.
then started making up the box uprights.

welded up the box upright.

everything put together with light bar. unpainted

now for the finished product

this is my first project and fab work of this size. plus my skills level is moderate. i tried my best and its not perfect in any way. everything from measuring, cutting, welding, griding, and painting. im glad i did it in such a short time period. if i end up building a new bumper i know it will be better. thanks for looking.
