I have been searching for a answer but have gone a wide range of answers and conflicting info. Some J ass decided to extinguish 2 cigarettes on my vinyl tonneau cover, 1 is half the size the diameter of one and the other is the full diameter (about the size of a pea). My question is what can I use to fill it in so it doesn't leak. The cover is less than a year old and I want to get a few more years out of it before I replace it. The majority of the time I get the truck hand washed but occasionally it sees a automated carwash to remove the salt so I would like it to handle that. But probably more important I need it to protect my kids diaper bags and stuff. I am open to ideas that will be the strongest fix and not necessarily the best looking. Thanks guys...

If it's an Extang they will send you a new "skin". Otherwise, I have had good results from silicone. Tape the underside, fill the hole.

You can call them and tell them what happened. Maybe they will send you a new replacement cover. There number is 1-877-878-9336 or use the contact form in the link below. They are pretty good folks at TruXedo so I think they will take care of you.

Let us know what you find out.

I have the Lo Pro QT on my truck but wished I would of spent a little more and bought a Undercover Elite or SE.

What about a fishing/ hunting wader repair kit? You can pick them up for 5-8 bucks and I imagine it would probably take care of the job quite nicely.
