I have a very small oil pan leak just on one side of the flange. I only add about 1/2 quart of oil once a month or so. Would it be ok to just try to tighten the pan bolts just a tiny bit to stop the leak? I'm leery about causing it to leak worse though. This model does not have a gasket just sealant.

i'd say that isn't a bad idea, or next oil change before you refill put some rtv around it and let it dry.

b/c it's 4wd taking the pan all the way out is prob. too difficult to be worth it, but you could prob. drop it enough get enough space to put some more sealant
