    This is La Posta Road, this was the second trail we ran that day. It was awesome, cause the gates were all finally open, and we were able to get all the way to Kitchen Creek Rd. about 13miles approx.:D

    Actually I'm pretty sure it was a sand plant on La Posta Indian Reservation

    that has transformed into a "mini Ocotillo".

    That looks like a fun spot... please let me know when you are invited out again and perhaps I could join up.

    What I see is a place to try the various operating modes for climbing on loose or steep grades... I have colored marker flags and if someone is video'ing we can show TW how far up we can climb (from a standing stop at the bottom, using traction not momentum) in:
    H2 Open Differential
    H2 TRAC
    H2 AUTO LSD
    H4 Open Differential
    H4 TRAC
    L4 Open Differential
    L4 Rear Locker
    L4 A-TRAC
    L4 Rear Locked & A-TRAC

    In an earlier test at Ocotillo Wells, H4 TRAC out-climbed L4 Open and L4 Rear Locked, only the A-TRAC on L4 matched or exceeded TRAC in H4.
    Having traction control on the front (and rear) differential makes a big difference in climbing... be it in high or low range.

    Here's were I made several climbs at Devil's Slide... the two tracks on the right that got almost to the top were H4 TRAC and Rear locked L4, the track on the left (shortest) was L4 Open... the track ahead to the top was A-TRAC!
