I am curious if anyone has ran the 2.85 stealth pulley and aFe intake on a trd supercharged 4.0 and ended up lean. It would seem everyone claims the TRD tune is rich no matter what. Had anyone heard of running lean after those two mods. I don't have the upgraded fuel pump but I only have 1,500 miles on my truck, so I'm not too worried about the fuel filter getting clogged yet.

I dont have a pulley yet, but after i installed that very intake i noticed my AFRs spent more time being rich then they ever had before. Dont really know or understand why. Just my experience.

I understand this, my question if anyone has had any issues with the air/fuel ratios being too lean. In other words, I'm looking at running both of those parts with my supercharger as well as my cat back exhaust. As long as no one has come close to running lean with those mods, I'm not going to bother getting a wideband O2 sensor.

I have yet to install everything but......... I plan to run the TRD Blower with the 2.85" pulley and TRD Gen1 intake. I also have the fuel pump upgrade, DT Shorty headers, custom exhaust, etc.

I don't plan to install an A/F ratio meter. I plan to put in all the parts that I'm accumulating for the blower install, break it in and get it strapped on a dyno. The A/F chart from the dyno run should determine if the TRD ecu reflash is closer to stoich. If it's still "rich", I have a EcoBlock MAF spacer that I can throw on and dyno for shit-n-giggles and see if it leans out the tune and by how much. If the tune is running rich/lean, I have a URD MAF Cal to play with and the knowledge/experience of fellow TW member @Vassily28 (MAF Cal wizard) for me to pick his brain.

I expect what the Lobster said to hold true. My future dyno run should confirm or refute that.

I had a similar set up, 1st gen TRD CAI + ProDry, TRD Catback, 2.85 pulley, and Doug Thorley LT headers, TRD reflash + MAF cali.

Then i change my Y-pipe and take the occasion to do 3 logs.

    1- Before Y-pipe
    2- After Y-pipe
3-After Y-pipe and fuel pump upgrade.

The 3 runs were with the same map. The result shows that before the Y-pipe i was at the limit of the fuel pump. Take note that i had the OEM FPR mod. I've done the proof of the benefits of the OEM FPR mod on the AFR in an other thread.

I highly recomand the installation of an AFR gauge. Without it, it's at your own risks.

Not yet... I've been lagging on the blower install. Been occupied with some suspension mods.

I'll update this thread when I've completed my said tasks.
