So I get this pop up on the dash 50% of the time. Truck still starts and unlocks fine. Any ideas?

nothing was installed around the time this started. I do have a remote start installed but that was done a month before this issue started

Have you tried changing the fob battery/ using the 2nd fob? The receivers (there are 2) also seem to very temperamental to voltage changes so have you added any electronic accessory’s recently?

Have added a new radio (head unit). Probably the most near term addition. With a dash cam

what kinda headunit? If name brands then I’m sure it’s not the problem, if it’s one of the Android tablet type units then “personally” I’d unplug the power and see if that’s interfering with it.

them I’m kinda at a loss. When I was having issues with keyless entry I found an excellent online pdf (from Toyota) that explained how the system worked, where all the components where and all the different checks you can do. I can’t find it now, But it may be worth searching for it.

Disconnect your car battery for 30 minutes and replace the fob battery during that time...this is the first path of least resistance. Only use the fob with the replaced battery until certain issue is gone.
