Smart Key Fob Pics??

Who give a rats ass about the tail gate? Do any other manufacturers even offer this? I know GM doesn't. Not like you can't just reach into the bed

 

I'm sure there will be aftermarket pieces or wiring jobs that can resolve the issue. But yes, I agree, it's an oversight in the convenience planning.

 

I'll be wiring in a Pop N Lock automatic tailgate opener like I did on my '12. Opens when you double tap to unlock all doors. Under $100. The factory setup is beyond stupid.

 

In trucks without push button start, does the ignition key open the tailgate?

 

Yes, I believe so. Perhaps someone with an SR or SR5 can confirm this.

 

Remote starting a black Corvette in the Texas heat and getting the AC rolling rocks.

 

Remote start and auto defrost FTW. melts the ice then I can just wipe it kff the Windows without scraping.

 

Remote start for when I decide to park in the pool. The pump gets going and empties the van out so I'm not stuck waiting underwater very long.

 

I lost my the key, that inserts into the fob. Any national chains anyone has gone to for getting a new key at a reasonable price, just the key don't need the fob.

 

Any decent locksmith should be able to cut you a nee key.
